ACPA provides excellent inhibition of Calcium and Magnesium Salts. The antiscalants exhibit threshold inhibition and crystal distortion properties thereby reducing scale formation. The scale inhibitor can play a role as corrosion inhibitor since it will form a film on the metal surface that can protect it form corrosion attack.
